Job Responsibilities
- Support M&A and commercial transactions across wind, solar and energy storage projects.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements including purchase and sale agreements, power purchase agreements, and energy storage agreements.
- Anticipate and mitigate legal risks
- Ensure budget compliance and minimize the need for outside counsel
- Disclose significant legal issues to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar license with at least 3 years’ experience negotiating and advising on acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures in the energy industry
- Experience in project finance and tax equity
- Strong transactional experience
