Job Title : Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will primarily operate a sit-down forklift around our large facility. Each candidate will be assigned their own forklift and will be responsible for maintaining it.
The role involves loading and unloading semi-trucks, handling large drums, and ensuring smooth operations within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift
- Load and unload semi-trucks
- Maintain and take care of the assigned forklift.
- Ensure accurate and efficient case picking using a sit-down forklift.
- Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs often and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Essential Skills
- 2-3 years of solid sit-down forklift experience.
- Basic knowledge of material handling.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy weights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No prior inventory experience needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
