Job Summary :
Velox is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The position involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, managing inventory, and preparing orders for construction crews.
The role involves loading / unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and coordinating material deliveries with project managers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring accurate records of stock levels.
- Prepare and fulfill orders for construction crews, ensuring the correct materials and equipment are available for daily operations.
- Load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe handling procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment.
- Assist with the return, repair, or disposal of damaged or outdated materials.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize material flow and minimize project delays.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or utility construction.
- Familiarity with construction materials and tools, particularly those used in utility projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs or more) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
