Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity in Cumming, GA. This position offers the opportunity to work within a school setting, providing therapy to help students achieve optimal physical function and enhance their educational experience.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping students improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate students physical abilities and develop personalized plans of care.
- Implement physical therapy interventions to facilitate students' physical performance in a school setting.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to integrate physical therapy with educational activities.
- Educate students and staff on various aspects of physical health and preventive care.
- Maintain records of students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to design and execute effective therapeutic interventions.
