Together these facilities offer patients the best rehab andnursing care they can obtain after their hospitaldischarge.

• Registered Nurse RN utilizes thenursing process in the care of designated Residents administersmedications & treatments to residents & documentsappropriately on assigned nursingunit
• Registered Nurse RN reports findings ofongoing observations / assessments to the designated Charge NurseNursing Supervisor & / or UnitManager
• Registered Nurse RN demonstrateknowledge of basic test / lab collection values deliver directresident care consistent with the policies / procedures &Resident Bill of Rights in combination with demonstrated clinicalskills / knowledge
• Registered Nurse RN willidentify / respond timely to patientconcerns / needs
• Registered Nurse RN demonstrateseffective interpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriatequality patient care
• Prepare residentassignments considering the category of needs of the patient &competency of personnel monitor / evaluate the flow of activity &delivery of patient care provided (positioning bathing etc.

assure documentation records (ADLs meal intake etc.) are completedfor CNAs

Is punctual and / or provides propernotification for lateness or absenteeism

Requirements :

• Graduate of an approved school ofnursing
• Licensed & registered in goodstanding in New York State as an Registered NurseRN
• Experience with geriatric patients isdesirable but not required.
• Sincere desire towork with the elderly chronically ill &disabled
• Possess a spirit of cooperation &enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation& growth
• Knowledge of medical social &psychological needs of residents general nursing theory &practice & infection preventionprinciples / methods
• Ability to communicate wellverbally with residents families &staff
