Summary
This position is located at the United States Mint, Philadelphia Manufacturing Department, Office of Administration, in the Distribution and Logistics Division.
Responsibilities
As a SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST , you will :
- Oversee the activities and initiatives relating to the supply, management and control of inventory at the facility
- Analyze inventory and supply demand data and provide advice and recommendations on appropriate levels of inventories to maintain, storage and disposal.
- Conduct projects and studies related to the execution of quality control programs and processes for inventory control and receipts functions. Travel Required

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-12 , you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service .
Specialized Experience for this position includes :
Coordinating procurement processes, asset management, logistics and inventory management; AND
- Writing inventory reports and maintaining logistical records; AND
- Conducting studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs; AND
- Providing recommendations on inventory levels and practices pertaining to inventory management.
