Human Resources Consultant
We have a small winery seeking an HR Consultant to support a maternity leave.
This position would start in Mid-July and go through Dec 2024.
Must be able to be onsite on their Los Gatos property 4-5 days a week!
Pay is max at $40 / hr (Ideally the budget is $35 / hr for the client but they can stretch it for the right person)
Position will be supporting an office of around 50-60 employees and doing all the tactical pieces of HR (similar to an HR Generalist level)

- Recruiting / Hiring / Onboarding
- Employee Relations and Investigation Exp.
- Workers Comp and Workplace Accommodations
- Year end compliance (ACA, min wage, OSHA 300, etc)
- Safety / OSHA idea
- Benefits, Open enrollment
- New hire orientation
- Adhoc projects
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Familiar with Paycom / ATS (ideal)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- PHR / SPHR Certification preferred
- Experience processing payroll for up to 100 employees using ADP or similar system
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills : warmth, sensitivity to others, customer service focus in person & on the phone
