And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay :
• Average $1, per week / $86, per year
• Start at .60 cpm
• Reaching top pay of .62 cpm within 12 months
• Average 1, miles per week
• Unloading pay is . per case which could average $ per trailer
• Average $15 / week for tub pick up (tub / container that holds the small merchandise)
• Company sponsored per diem program
• Home weekly
• Dispatches Sunday afternoon through Monday noon
• Sunday dispatch gets home on Friday; Monday dispatch gets home Friday evening or Saturday morning
• Drivers take pre-loaded trailers in Chattanooga, TN and deliver to Cracker Barrel stores (merchandise, not food)
• Solo drivers cover the Eastern half of U.S.
• Drivers typiy run 2 routes per week
• Runs vary throughout the week
• Merchandise for each store is divided by a bulkhead; freight is not all mixed together
• Must set up ramp and two-wheel freight into the customer's storeroom (most stops take 1+ hours to unload)
• All drivers will ride with a Dedicated Averitt driver on this account for the first week to ensure a complete understanding of the customer's processes and procedures.

This will be paid at a flat rate of $1, for the 1

week only

During slower months (January - July) if not needed on this account you will be expected to work at another supply chain site, this will allow you to continue getting weekly work

• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years, including at least 6 months' OTR experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers must have Class A CDL
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions :

• Load freight - lift requirement : 80 lbs
• Unload freight - lift requirement : 80 lbs
• Move freight - force requirement : 54 lbs
• Open / Close Trailer Doors - force requirement : 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook / Unhook trailer - force requirement : 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter / Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter / Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
