Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) Job Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Nights 7p-7a Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required License : Must possess valid State RN license Certifications : - BLS certification required - ACLS certification required - NIHSS certification required Must-Have : - CRRT experience - Balloon Pump experience - Holiday availability - Work every other weekend - Ability to float to Progressive Care (3N) if needed - Navy blue scrubs Job Description : - Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
Involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.
Other Requirements : - Bachelor's degree preferred.- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
