  • Enhance the company’s AI, privacy, and cybersecurity compliance programs and provide strategic guidance to the engineering, product, and security teams to ensure a safe and compliant use of AI in the company’s product portfolio.
  • Monitor new and emerging developments in applicable worldwide regulations and laws, and identify potential impacts on current and future Harness product offerings.

  • Create and deliver training to educate employees on employment and product compliance-related matters and enhance Harness’s culture of compliance.
  • Assist with other special projects as needed.

About you

  • JD degree (or equivalent) and admitted to practice law.
  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally gained at an international law firm and in-house.

  • Excellent technical legal skills coupled with a strong understanding of business needs.
  • Able to triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate expectations with internal clients and delivering results efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
  • Terrific sense of humor, disdain for drama, interest in learning new things, and desire to get things done.
