TheHydraulics Design Engineer will develop hydraulic systems that areworld-class in overall quality, reliability, durability, features,performance, and efficiency.

Role &Responsibility *

Hydraulic SystemDevelopment

• Identifyemerging technologies, trends, and new products in mobilehydraulics
• Lead research and developmentprojects to investigate the feasibility of emerging technologies onBobcat equipment
• Influence product design byproviding subject matter expertise to New Product Developmentteams
• Identify product requirements related tohydraulic systems by collaborating with cross-functionalstakeholders from product management, service, operations,marketing, sales, etc.
• Deconstruct stakeholderproduct requirements into verifiable technical requirements for thehydraulic system and components
• Develop systemand component solutions by collaborating with suppliers andinternal stakeholders
• Recommend system andcomponent solutions to engineering leadership and cross-functionalteams
• Perform system sizing and designcalculations. Specify components to meet systemrequirements
• Develop analysis and validationplans that ensure product, system, and component requirements aremet
• Direct analysis and verificationtesting
• Identify hydraulic system and componentissues, develop solutions, and ensureresolution
• JobRequirement *
• Bachelor's Degree - MechanicalEngineering or similar
• Excellent engineeringanalysis, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills
• Excellent written communication, verbalcommunication, and presentation skills
• Abilityto lead technical projects and small technical projectteams
• Previous experience with hydraulicsystems and components preferred
• Previousoff-road equipment design experiencepreferred
• Travel : Up to10%
