Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the hydropower engineering practice in the SoCal area, including client and business development activities, proposals and pursuits, and serving as PM or technical lead on projects.
• Grow the local hydropower team in SoCal and collaborate with other Areas and teams for successful project execution.
• Develop and implement a hydropower growth plan in coordination with SoCal Resources and Water teams, the National Hydropower Practice, and Power Sector teams.
• Participate in engineering business development activities including proposal development as champion and / or reviewer; engage actively in industry groups (e.g., National Hydropower Association).
• Oversee operations : grow and manage hydro engineering and design teams within SoCal's Resources business group, coordinate activities across hydropower engineering staff, and align with the National Hydropower Practice.
• Contribute to growth strategies and multi-year hiring plans aligned with opportunities in hydropower and client satisfaction.
• Provide project oversight, participate in project reviews, and serve as Principal-In-Charge for projects; act as project manager on strategic, complex projects to maintain client connections.
