About The Position
Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Telemetry Job Specialty : Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day (6 : 45am-7 : 15pm) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year License : Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor Must-Have : - Graduation from an accredited / approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours - Ability to read, write, and speak the English language - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Experience in direct patient care (preferred) Job Description : - Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality, individualized, and safe patient care.
- Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
- Deliver relationship-based patient-centered care while considering population-specific characteristics. - Partner with patients and significant others to set and focus on care goals.
- Ensure current clinical practice standards are maintained. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in a fiscally responsible manner. - Participate in performance improvement activities and share governance processes.
- Complete all required professional competency assessments and mandatory education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for colleagues and students to foster a qualified workforce.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. - Uphold healthcare system policies, including legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum. - Support efficient use of resources and development of protocols for best practice outcomes.
- Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care with basic computer skills. - Respond decisively and respectfully to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong time management and critical thinking skills.
