Director of Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead DevOps teams and drive software solutions for government clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Oversee cloud architecture and migrations, ensuring secure and timely outcomes aligned with business goals

Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines to enhance engineering velocity and product quality

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 5 years managing teams

Proven experience in leading cloud migrations and implementing DevOps practices in enterprise environments

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
