AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Transit / Rail Project Manager to join our Sacramento Office.

JOB SUMMARY :

This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit / rail projects for our key clients.

Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation transit and rail industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of mega-transit / rail programs.

This role will support client procurements by assisting in pre-award planning and coordination of their assigned project(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Support development and execution of significant rail / transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, and / or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery (traditional and alternative)
  • Establish relationships and interact with major clients
  • Provide technical expertise and input to client procurements, evaluations and selection process(es)
  • Directly involved in the day-to-day management and delivery of their assigned client project(s) from initial contract negotiations to final commissioning, start-up and handover.
  • A desire to work with external contractors / consultants, AECOM’s other divisions / regions and interact directly with major clients
  • Be a visible and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

BA / BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience in Alternative Delivery Methods
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
  • Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
  • Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design / project management / program management

  • Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $197,000.
