Required Experience
- Able to create and maintain filing via electronic filing system
- Computer experience required
- Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job
- Previous experience in medical office, Ambulatory or Hospital Collection, preferred
- ADVANTX
- Knowledge of Advantx registration, billing transaction modules
- Understands all areas covered in Registration / Case History
- Knowledge of back up needed for adjustments and refund request
- Knowledge of how to document accounts in Advantx correctly
- PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS
- Maintains an acceptable performance standard for production. Refer to the Collector Metrics and Productivity
- Maintains an acceptable rate for quality. Refer to the Collector Metrics and Productivity Requirements.
- Printing / mailing is completed within 24 hours of receipt
- Appeals are completed with 24 hours of receipt and worked to completion
- Cross trained to help with answering incoming calls or returning messages. Return voicemails within 24 hours of receipt
- SCAN CHART
- Knowledge of how to work correspondence and ensure it has been
- Knowledge of how to pull Medical records in Scan Chart in order to submit to the insurance companies for review
- Knowledge of how to scan documents in to Scan Chart for the Collection department
- SUPPLIES
- Keep an accurate record of supplies
- Cross train to order supplies
- WAYSTAR
- Patient statement-address rejections worked weekly
