Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Manage a varied caseload with efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication remains a top priority. Ability to pivot and land at a moment's notice. Must have a JD degree and hold an active NC law license in good standing. Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in criminal defense or a related field. Strong skills in research, writing, and negotiation are essential. Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member. Demonstrate a client-first approach with high emotional intelligence. Consideration is given to small firm owners looking to focus solely on practicing law. Must be able to pivot and land at a moment's notice.
