SUMMARY : Maintain accuracy and quality of data collected from District users and systems. Compile data for audit of systems.
Design and produce reports. Collect and retrieve data from multiple sources. Tend to maintenance of District databases. Perform query / report writing and other statistical elements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job and represent the type of work performed.

- Oversee collection of information and monitor implementation of state and federal data collections. Train other staff in reporting of the state and federal data collections. Daily, 25%
- Coordinate and provide user orientation and training on applications, data entry systems, and data integrity. Daily, 10%
- Implement, administer, maintain, and monitor user interfaces, data collection structures, reporting formats, data access tools, and data integrity measures for core business data. Daily, 10%
- Create, perform, and manage routine data operations in bulk (replication, distribution, import, export, reporting, warehousing, purging, and archival, etc.
and in detail (record error corrections, new code assignments, etc.). Daily, 15 %
Assist in the development and manage the implementation of data policy decisions, data collection rules, business rules, integrity measures, security measures, etc.
Coordinate with end users on process. Daily, 10%
- Perform and manage ad hoc data extract, mining, conversion, integration, migration, data reporting, etc. Handle ad hoc data requests. Daily, 5%
- Address long-term and strategic data issues such as coding schemes, data mapping, data structures, archival data formats, data integration and migration, data mining and analysis, coordination of data interactions on multiple platforms, and user training. Daily, 10%
- Work with users to troubleshoot and create interim solutions as needed. Daily, 5%
- Help to enforce data integrity measures. Daily, 5%
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Daily, 5%
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working in Information Systems / Technology.
- Intermediate employee training experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate level of understanding of reporting principles and practices.
- Intermediate analytical / technical skills to collect and prepare productivity data, etc.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal relations skills.
- Ability to work alone and with others.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects.
- Ability to coordinate diverse administrative tasks requiring advanced organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- SQL querying and reporting experience.
- Microsoft SSIS / SSRS ETL packages
