The Clinical Director provides mental, behavioral, and / or psychological treatment services or therapy directly to patients utilizing a variety of treatment methodologies.
Services / treatment / therapy may be provided in individual or group environments and may be provided virtually or in person.
Masters level and Licensed roles frequently include assessment or evaluation for mental health disorders and development, review, and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans.
Assists patients and their families to change behaviors and to locate and access interpersonal, family and community resources to manage their health and well-being.
In a team setting, may also provide community education and awareness and / or consultation to staff members and other health care professionals regarding methods / approaches to help patients recognize and overcome barriers to health and well-being.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage the overall performance of clinical staff, including cost, quality, and patient satisfaction
- Partner with integration teams to ensure successful practice onboarding and integration and appropriate resource allocation
- Support provider recruitment efforts in the market and play a vital role in the successful onboarding and integration of new practices and providers
- Provide leadership and coaching to clinical teammates, ensuring regular communication across the team and development to prepare for continued growth
- Handle all aspects of staffing and team management, fostering a high-performance work environment that values employees and promotes development and success
- Ensure appropriate strategies are implemented to achieve clinical quality and patient service experience measures
- Collaborate in developing annual budgets and review and analyze monthly financial performance to achieve yearly budget
- P&L and KPI performance metrics
- Follow through on critical goals and performance measures that advance organizational strategy and business plan
- Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff
- Develop productivity and other performance projections for both budget and look-forward projections
- Liaise between operations and leadership to ensure providers’ needs are being successfully addressed to reinforce a culture of transparency and support
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive change initiatives to completion to improve overall operations and financial outcomes
- Support the development of a market provider workforce plan

Required Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
- Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LCP (independently licensed) in state of practice
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EMRs)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
