We are currently searching for a Clinical Assistant at our OrthoCarolinaWinston Salem office location .
The Clinical Assistant is responsiblefor providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care which includes performing routine office procedures and testing, participating in patient teaching, communicating effectively with others, and assisting the physician / mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care.
Additional responsibilities as a Clinical Assistant include :
Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems
Completing phone triage
Casting and bracing
Performing routine office procedures
Providing patient education

Additional requirements as a Clinical Assistant include :
Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursingor a college degree in a related field
Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, current nursing license, ATC Board certification
New graduates are welcome
2 -3 years of clinical assistant experience
Clinical Assistants includes these certified clinicians :
If CMA or RMA, individual must be registered or certified through one of the following national organizations :
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
National HealthCareer Association (NHA),
American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
If EMT, individual must possess Emergency Medical Technician certification
If ATC, individual must be board certified as Athletic Trainer
