About The Position
Responsibilities :
- Full-time coverage (5x8 8 : 30AM 4 : 30PM), no on-call duties.
- Daily rounds for 2-4 patients, with additional rounds as needed.
- Occasional weekend coverage. 1x month
- Independent work, no NP / PA support
Requirements :
- Comfortable treating all patients. Majority of cases are chronic.
- Experience in community hospital and office-based practice. Must have behavioral health / psych experience.
- Proficient in diagnosing and prescribing psych meds.
- NJ Licensed, Board Certified, BLS certified.
- Fingerprinting required.
Additional Info :
- 6-month assignment.
- Onsite security available.
- Corrections / state hospital experience preferred.
Ideal candidates can handle challenging situations and are knowledgeable about psych meds.
