REQUIREMENTS : We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of experience directly related to working in a poultry processing plant.
While a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, we will consider additional directly related work experience in place of the educational requirement, on a year-by-year basis.

- Proven problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities. Must have a track record of following through on assigned tasks and be able to prioritize multiple, sometimes conflicting, responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS : The Second Shift Supervisor at our poultry processing plant will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the assigned shift, while also ensuring the adherence to safety protocols and the achievement of departmental goals in all areas under their supervision.
This role reports directly to the Plant Manager.
- Supervise all Department Managers and Supervisors during the designated shift.
- Coach and mentor Department Managers and area Supervisors to ensure their alignment with management objectives.
- Manage all interactions and issues with government entities in collaboration with the Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager.
- Direct the processing of designated products in accordance with scheduled requirements, cost standards, safety regulations, environmental policies, quality guidelines, maintenance protocols, sanitation practices, and food safety specifications, in order to achieve maximum output at minimized costs.
- Maintain an efficient organizational structure within the plant to maximize employee utilization and development.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet financial targets and goals for the plant.
- Act as the facility representative for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
