Description
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Pre-Admissions RN, maintains, organizes, and oversees all activities during the pre-admission process for patients having surgery at McBride Hospital.
Coordinates activities related to admission of patients in the hospital. Works cooperatively with the physician offices to facilitate the admission process for patients.
Applies the nursing process to deliver basic, safe, therapeutic care for individuals or groups of patients within the peri-operative setting.
Demonstrates wise use of time, energy, and resources to function within the confines of the approved budget for the Pre-Admissions department.
Performs all work according to the mission, vision, and values of McBride Hospital. This is a safety sensitive position.
Qualifications
Current unencumbered license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
Computer knowledge and skills.
Previous Hospital Experience preferred; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
