Associate Financial Planning Consultant

Overview

Cetera Financial Group is seeking an Associate Financial Planning Consultant to support senior advisors with financial planning preparation, client service, and operational tasks. This role helps build capacity for Lead Advisors or Managing Directors and contributes to firm initiatives and strategic goals. Compensation includes a base salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, with a generous incentive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• General Support : Assist Partner Advisors with analysis, client service, and technical tasks; develop and refine technical skills; collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client service delivery.
• Analytical Support : Prepare financial plans by gathering and analyzing client data using financial planning software; attend client meetings to take notes and provide follow-up support; conduct portfolio reviews, asset allocation analysis, and generate rebalancing trades; research financial products, investment managers, and services to support client recommendations; create custom spreadsheets or tools for planning scenarios.
• Client Service : Respond to basic client inquiries regarding account access or statements; facilitate fund transfers, update cost-based information, and complete account-related forms; maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate performance reports; provide product education or options to clients as needed.

Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000 with a generous incentive compensation package. Base salary depends on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location. Salary may differ due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
