Dishwasher Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure that all equipment is working properly; notify Manager on Duty of any irregularities.
- Keep the 3-compartment sink ready to use at all times (with water and sanitizer).
- Mop the restaurant floor and clean all Sweet Paris mats (AM only).
- Clean all kitchen mats with brush and hose every night, and replace in the kitchen.
- Check all coffee mugs and plates to ensure cleanliness and there are no chips or cracks.
- Separate silverware from kitchen equipment.
- Ensure that all washed dishes are clean, dry, and ready for service.
- Check bathrooms every 30-minutes. Clean as needed and initial the bathroom board.
- Take out all trash (washroom, bathrooms, service line) and place new liners in trash cans.
- Stock plates and cups at Crepe Station and Barista Station.
- When returning food containers to storage area, keep it organized.
- Assist the Food Runner in keeping the restaurant floor free of debris during peak hours.
- Clean all AC vents and exhaust hood filters every other night.
- Assist any employee with deliveries, organizing storage, and removal of empty boxes as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized walkways in the kitchen.
- Ensure that the dish area, kitchen floor, and storage areas are spotlessly cleaned at all times.
- Back door and dumpster areas must be free from debris at all times, and to prevent the unsanitary habitation of rodents.
- Be a team player that provides services that link all departments together, while ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
- Check duties with your manager, if you have any extra time for any areas that may need attention for cleaning.
