Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregiver

We are looking for full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregivers to join our team on overnights . If youre looking to advance your skill set and work in a fast-paced environment where every day looks different, we want to work with you!
Avets operates as a whole hospital team, offering opportunities to train and work with both specialty and emergency veterinarians.
We pair new hires with a mentor to guide them through their introductory period. This is a full-time , hourly position, working either 3 twelve hour shifts or 4 ten hour shifts per week , inclusive of one shift per weekend and a portion of the holidays.
Compensation :
- Hourly pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed further during interview process.
- Shift differentials available!
- $2 / hr after 6pm on weekdays and weekend day shift
- $3.50 / hr after 6pm on Friday and Saturday

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to :
- Follow a structured training program.
- Remain calm and efficient in a high stress environment; be adaptable and overcome challenging situations!
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a manner that supports Avets' mission to provide state of the art medicine and compassionate care for pets and the people who love them.
- Work with fellow team members to maintain a productive, positive and respectful environment. All technical staff, regardless of the level of experience, must be able to stand, bend, lift, and / or kneel for the duration of a shift (12 hours), and lift a minimum of twenty five pounds.
Prior emergency experience preferred, but not required. Certified Veterinary Technicians or license eligible candidates will be given the highest consideration.
