Regulatory Assistant- Cosmetics and Personal Care Products
Full Time
Location : Los Angeles
Concept Laboratories is a contract manufacturer that specializes in personal care and cosmetic products. We are actively looking to hire a Regulatory Assistant.
This role is responsible for supporting the regulatory and product development teams, to ensure that all products follow all regulatory requirements necessary to conduct business globally.
The role will work on contract manufacturing accounts as well as internally owned brands.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with gathering and tracking raw material documents.
- Obtain technical / regulatory documentation from raw material vendors and follow up regularly for updates.
- Prepare documentations related to IL, SDS, QQ.
- Adding raw material ingredient functions to QQ forms.
- Collecting and tracking paperwork to code raw materials.
- Submitting necessary registration forms as required on a timely basis.
- Assist with MOCRA product listing registration.
- Assist with WERCS registration.
- Enter regulatory and safety information of raw materials into Ecomundo.
Qualifications
BA / BS in science, preferably chemistry, biochemistry or microbiology
Experience in cosmetic or contract manufacturing a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word or Outlook
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
1-2 years experience a plus
