About The Position
Job Title : Physician Job Specialty : Internal Medicine Job Duration : Ongoing Shift : Day - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Must be board certified Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have : - Clean history for expedited privileges Job Description : Provide care in a full-time Internal Medicine role in a primary care clinic setting.
- Work alongside one dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) and four registered nurses (RNs).- Utilize on-site resources including : - A laboratory with a draw station - An on-site pharmacy and clinical pharmacist - Access to dietitians and a diabetes education program- Collaborative opportunities with Gastroenterology and Endocrinology departments located in the same building.
- Manage an average of 16-18 patient encounters per shift.- Participate in an assignment that begins ASAP post-credentialing.
- This is a locum tenens request type.- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days, with the possibility of expedited processing for candidates with clean history.
- Fellowships are not required.
