Responsibilities
Physical therapists provide services aimed at restoring and improving a patient's function, mobility, and pain level while preventing or limiting disabilities resulting from the injury or disease.
They assist patients with exercise and using aids to help with mobility like walkers or crutches. While focusing on promoting overall fitness and health, PTs exhibit patience and a calm demeanor while addressing a range of disabling conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.
Ideal candidates demonstrate thoroughness and competence in examining patients' medical histories, conducting tests to measure strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function, and then prescribing treatment strategies.

Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
