Are you skilled in mechanical repair and maintenance? Join our client’s team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their machinery and facilities.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform various maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication, and basic electrical work.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Perform skilled operations such as fitting and aligning bearings and shafts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC units. Schedule :

Pay :
$33-40 / hr + $3 shift premium
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of related maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift / move up to 100 pounds occasionally and frequently lift / move up to 15 pounds.
Work Environment :
- Work in a plant environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Use of safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
