Millwood Hospital (a UHS affiliated hospital) is a -bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment.
Millwood’s caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1.
Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The hospital is less than minutes from DFW International Airport. Millwood Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited hospital with a solid reputation in the community and is part of one of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Access Director is responsible for coordination of a staff of specialists in the provision of patient access to care and behavioral health assessment services, including call management, clinical evaluations for level of care, crisis intervention, admissions, and referrals.
This position interfaces closely with the hospital’s medical staff, nursing staff and fellow department heads. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Intake.
SIGN-ON BONUS : $5, - 1-year commitment
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Master’s Degree in a human relations field or Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing.
Experience : Two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact.
Licensure : Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC or RN.
Additional Requirements : A working knowledge of the DSM-V and the Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.
