We specialize in building customized microgrids with long-term battery systems for commercial and residential properties.
Additionally, we deploy advanced Atmospheric Water Generation systems to improve water quality and access. Our Utilities-as-a-Service business model allows for the rapid deployment of Volition systems throughout the US.
Position Overview : Volition Industries is seeking an experienced and driven Energy Management Consultant. The ideal candidate will have enterprise level experience in commercial property leasing / sales and / or utilities, renewable energy, and microgrid solutions.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated to close sales, exceed sales targets, and relentlessly pursue outstanding sales performance.
This role requires a strong focus on converting leads into sales, consistently surpassing sales goals, and demonstrating a results-driven approach to achieving exceptional sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive new customer acquisition by utilizing persuasive sales techniques on sales calls to convert qualified prospects.
- Build rapport and connect with potential customers aims to turn every call into a sales opportunity.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Craft proposals for customized energy solutions that benefit customers.
- Handle and nurture incoming leads from various channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment and support for sales projects.
- Present and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing support.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent Volition Industries at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Provide feedback to improve our sales and customer service processes.
Qualifications :
- Enterprise experience in commercial leasing / sales and / or utilities, renewable energy, and microgrid solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Professional, consultative approach to in-home presentations and proposals.
- Ability to speak passionately about the positive impacts of renewable energy.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong ability to multi-task, including conversing while navigating our CRM system simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including HVAC, solar, battery backup, fuel cells, and turbine technologies.
- Experience with sales CRM software and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

During the interview process, your recruiter will be explaining our total rewards (base, equity, commissions, perks, and benefit) offerings.
The base salary for this role is targeted for $80,000 plus commissions per year. Final offer amount is determined by your proficiencies within this level.
