Responsibilities
- Cover institutional municipal accounts / customers to support secondary and new issue (negotiated and competitive) businesses.
- Open sales relationships to facilitate the growth of the municipal sales, trading and public finance businesses.
- Assist in implementing necessary systems to support a municipal sales and trading business.
- Collaborate with municipal trading to establish trading accounts and street relationships.
- Work closely with Public Finance to execute negotiated new issue transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field experience.
- Minimum of five years Institutional Municipal Sales experience.
- Existing end account and street relationships necessary to support new issue and secondary sales and trading businesses.
- Experience working with public finance bankers on new issue transactions.
- Solid understanding of broader debt capital markets.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees and clients.
- Relevant FINRA licenses required, or will need to be secured within 120 days of employment.
