Salary Range : $102,600 - $154,000 Annual
The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location.
This position is bonus eligible.
CNO Financial Group’s Finance & Accounting organization is hiring a Manager, Management Accounting to be responsible for the CNO corporate credit card program, CNO travel program, cash control, cycle balancing, tax withholding, 1099 reporting, and policy-related disbursements.
This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, as well as internal and external audits.

As a Manager, Management Accounting, your responsibilities will include :
- Oversee the preparation, distribution, and processing of accounting transactions on a daily & monthly basis.
- Work closely with outside auditors and regulators. Coordinate the accumulation of information and support to meet their audit objectives.
- Oversee the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of financial operating systems and programs.
- Manage the in-house check receipt processing and the balancing of treasury data to CNO systems.
- Daily maintenance of the corporate travel program and corporate credit cards.
- Maintain accounting systems and staff, directing bookkeeping activities (i.e. recording receipts, expenses, and tax payments).
- Provide oversight on in-house check receipt processing and the balancing of external bank data to CNO systems.
- Ensure proper compliance with all tax withholding and 1099 regulations.
- Direct personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary).
- Participate in finance and enterprise-level departmental projects.
The Manager, Management Accounting position is well-suited for you if you :

What you’ll need :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5 years of directly related experience with strong accounting and insurance industry knowledge.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US-based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
