As part of the adjunct faculty in the college, instructors will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for our degree completion programs.
All courses will be conducted online, fostering a dynamic and flexible learning environment for adult learners returning to school.
Responsibilities :
Teaching Excellence : Deliver high-quality instruction while employing innovative and interdisciplinary teaching methods.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and active participation.
- Student Support : Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and assessments. Cultivate positive relationships with students, responding to their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion : Embrace and promote diversity in all its forms, ensuring a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for learners from various backgrounds and experiences.
- Adaptability to Online Teaching : Demonstrate proficiency in online teaching techniques and utilize the university’s Learning Management System (Canvas LMS) effectively to facilitate a seamless virtual classroom experience.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with fellow faculty members to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum.
Requested Minimum Qualifications Qualifications :
Educational Requirements : The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree (for undergraduate courses) from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
