Job Description :

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Fisheries Engineer to join a fisheries and eco hydraulics team! This individual will provide technical and leadership expertise to support projects within Water Supply, Dams, Hydropower, and Transportation.

The perfect candidate will have a background in business development providing project proposals, client management, and marketing strategies.

We are looking for a self-motivated, results oriented individual who enjoys building relationships and provides great leadership skills to set direction and execute company goals.

Skill Sets / Must Haves :

  • 10+ years of experience in water resources, hydraulic , and fisheries related engineering.
  • Experience with 1D / 2D / 3D hydraulic modeling to support planning of water resource projects including

stream rehabilitation and restoration, fish passage, fish behavior, screened surface water intakes, complex culverts and bridges, and floodplain management

  • Understand mechanics of the model and lead a team to inform design.
  • Bachelors of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • PE license in the State of Washington.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), GIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS and SRH-2D

Plusses :

  • Experience leading a team of Engineers to execute water resource projects.
  • Has contacts / connections or a portfolio of clients in WA, OR, Idaho, Montana, California , New York, New Hampshire, or Maine.
