Job Description :
As an Audio Director, you will lead the audio department in our gaming and film projects, overseeing all aspects of sound design, music composition, and audio implementation.
Your role involves setting the audio vision for our projects, ensuring that the soundscapes are not only of the highest quality but also contribute meaningfully to the overall experience.
Collaborating with various departments, you will guide and inspire a team of sound designers, composers, and audio engineers to create immersive and emotive audio that enhances our narratives and gameplay.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Audio Vision and Strategy : Develop and maintain the overall audio strategy for our projects, setting standards for quality and innovation.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the audio team, fostering a creative and productive work environment.
- AI Integration : Harness www.evertide.ai's AI tools to push the boundaries of audio technology in gaming and film.
- Collaborative Development : Work closely with game designers, developers, and producers to ensure audio aligns with and enhances the overall project vision.
- Technical Oversight : Oversee the implementation of audio within Unreal Engine, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
Requirements :
- Extensive experience in audio production, with a proven track record as an Audio Director or in a similar leadership role.
- Mastery of sound design, music composition, and audio technology.
- Experience with Unreal Engine and familiarity with its audio systems.
- Interest in and understanding of AI technologies, especially as they apply to audio production.
- Strong leadership skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music, Sound Design, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
