Shift Details : Position works any mix of 12 hour shifts 615a-615p, 630a-630p, 730a-730p. The schedule is fluid and weekends and holidays are a must.

St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children.
St. Vincents is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the systems second-largest hospital.
Position Summary / Responsibilities :
The Food & Nutrition Service Associate provides routine support services such as preparing patient trays, assisting with food preparation, replenishing supplies, washing dishes and equipment in the cafeteria, kitchen, and / or patient tray service areas.
Maintains proper sanitation of food service areas and equipment and adheres to stringent food handling procedures. Reports to Team or Unit Leader.
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Basic Math skills.
- May require ability to tolerate lifting up to 30 lbs and long term standing. Entry level.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
