TERI is looking for a Instructional Assistants to teach life skills, academics, help decrease behaviors, and increase the quality of life for all our Learning Academy and Country School Students .
Working at TCS you will assist in IEP implementation, documentation, and foster independence for our TERI Tornados and Coyotes.
POSITION TITLE
We’re seeking for a Instructional Assistant The Country School to join our TERI team!
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides IEP implementation
- Direct training
- Fun and functional community outings
- Supervision
- Academic instruction as well as functional life skills.
- Skills acquisition
- Behavior plan implementation and documentation
- Documentation to students 8-22 years of age with developmental / intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders in a classroom and community setting.
- Selfcare as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience with ABA practices.
- Extensive experience with data collection / analyzing.
- Experience with training teaching students with ASD other intellectual disabilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Patience lots of patience!
- Enthusiastic outlook and excellent communication skills.
- Highschool diploma / GED is required.
- Related experience preferred but not required. We will pay you to train!
- Criminal background check required.
- Acceptable Driving History.
- Must have personal mode of transportation.
Salary Range
$18.00 - $19.00 Hourly
Position Status
Full-Time - Monday Friday 8 : 30 am 3 : 30 pm
