You will work alongside a dynamic team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our restaurant. This position will report to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities :

Customer Service : Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Food Preparation : Prepare and package food items accurately and according to Popeyes' standards, ensuring freshness and quality.

Cashier Duties : Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency. Process orders, collect payments, and issue receipts.

Maintaining Cleanliness : Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities according to health and safety standards.

Food Safety Compliance : Adhere to proper food handling procedures, including temperature monitoring, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination.

Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks as needed.

Product Knowledge : Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and special offers to effectively assist customers with their orders and inquiries.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Must be able to observe and ensure the product is prepared and presented to company Brand Standards.
• Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
• Must complete all Popeyes Academy assigned Learning and LTOs
• Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of force frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to carry products / boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds.
• Consistently operates registers.
• Consistently handle product preparation.
• Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures.
• Frequently stop and pick up supplies and trash.
• Consistently push to open and close doors to store and storage shed as well as cooler and freezers.
• Consistently stand during serving customers and training.
• Consistently talk to and listen to fellow team members and Guests.
• Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking and inventory.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Applicants must possess a valid food handler's permit or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one. Employers will be responsible for providing the necessary training and certification for all employees, who are required to be certified.
