Job Description
You will be the Project Engineer Senior within the LM Aeronautics Advanced Development Program (ADP) Skunkworks, where future technologies are utilized to solve tomorrow's problems.
As the Project Engineer Senior, our responsibilities will include :
- Assisting with the Software Integrated Product Team’s (SW IPT) overall engineering technical, capability, and schedule performance on a specific ADP program.
- Coordinating planning, organization, integration and completion of software development projects within the SW IPT.
- Providing SW IPT progress and plans to SW Leadership.
- Instantiates solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support.
- Working closely with first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing, coordinates with first line managers on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes.
- Leveraging proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry.
- Ensuring program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.
- Planning and formulating engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
- Familiarity with software development utilizing Agile processes and common technology stacks
- Ability to inclusively coordinate on projects of various complexity
- Familiarity with PM-4001, Software Development Process (SDP), Configuration Management, Data Marking guidelines, DevStar AeroCode (AC-9337)
- Experience with the development of new principles and theories
- Basic comprehension of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
