Assistant Basketball Coach in Long Beach
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to serve as assistant coaches for our basketball program. Assistant coaches will work alongside the main coaches during training sessions, providing additional support and assistance to the children.
This role involves helping with drills, offering encouragement, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

Why : Gain hands-on experience supporting children with special needs in a sports setting. This is an opportunity to develop coaching and mentoring skills and gain valuable experience working within a team-oriented environment.
Who : 5-Eleven Hoops works to unlock the strengths and full potential of kids with Autism through sports in supportive and inlcusive spaces
What to Expect :
- Instructing children on completing the skills and tasks assigned to them
- Working alongside the main coaches during training sessions
- Offering encouragement to help them throughout the session
- Ensuring the well-being of all the participants
What's Required :
- Passion for basketball and working with children.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the coaching team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
