Job Overview :
RWJBarnabas Health is looking for a Full-Time Central Sterile Coordinator for our New Brunswick campus.
Qualifications : Required :
Required :
- High school diploma or equivalent,
- CRCST Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD required,
- CIS Certified Instrument Specialist required,
- At least 3 years work related experience in a Sterile processing department,
Preferred :
CHL Preferred
Certifications and Licenses Required :
- CRCST Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician thru IAHCSMM or CBSPD required,
- CIS Certified Instrument Specialist required,
Scheduling Requirements :
- Days to work
- Full-Time Schedule
- 40 hours a week
Essential Functions :
- Coordinates and orders all supply needs of the department,
- Responsible for all instrument repairs and coordinating with the manufacturer on the returns and loaners if needed,
- Works closely with the Peri-op leadership team and CSP leadership to identify future instrument needs, additional instruments and consistent par levels of back-ups to maintain daily operations
