Description
We are seeking a to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting our clients on their journey to recovery.
This position is ideal for a passionate and experienced counselor who is committed to using evidence-based practices to help individuals overcome addiction and build a healthy future.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health needs, and strengths.
- 32 patient contact hours / 4 days per week
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based approaches and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing support, guidance, and skill development to promote recovery.
- Motivate and empower clients to set and achieve recovery goals, focusing on relapse prevention strategies and healthy coping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in addiction treatment.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- NH State licensure as a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based addiction treatment models and therapies.
- Excellent individual and group counseling skills.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Proficient with EPIC EMR preferred
