Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Telemetry to join our healthcare team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, a 370-bed hospital in downtown San Antonio.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
You will assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
You will also perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
Key responsibilities include :

Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating patient needs
Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures
Requirements :
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License
1-2 years of medical telemetry or med-surgical ortho / PCU acute care nursing hospital experience
