Summary
The Pre-operative Registered Nurse / RN is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for patients undergoing invasive surgical procedures.
The registered nurse / RN demonstrates competency in assessing patients, planning, and coordinating their care. The registered nurse / RN participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with other disciplines to provide evidence based medical care for the patient.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to do so.
- CPR certification
