About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Oncology - Bone Marrow Transplant Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License : Valid State or compact nursing license Certifications : BLS, NIHSS, Chemo Certification preferred Must-Have : Strong Bone Marrow Transplant experience Job Description : Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop ongoing care plans for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as per protocols and guidelines.- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the transplant and recovery process.- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in virtual interviews as part of the selection process.- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe and professional care environment.
- Must wear navy blue scrubs during shifts.Note : This position does not accommodate local travelers within a 50-mile radius.
