Audio Engineer
TITLE : AudioEngineer DEPARTMENT : Production
JOBSUMMARY
The Audio Engineer servesas the primary audio engineer for all live events worship servicesbroadcast events and postproduction projects.
This position isresponsible for all matters related to audio production and overallsound quality at BRAVE Church. This position oversees leads anddirects a team of audio related staff and volunteers for all liveand broadcast events.
This position requires a qualified individualwith competencies in leadership organization team building problemsolving self starting andcollaboration.

PRIMARY DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serveas the lead audio engineer for live events broadcasts andcampuses
- Procure install manage and maintainall audio equipment and systems
- Lead train anddevelop staff and volunteers in all areas of audioproduction
SECONDARYDUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mixaudio for postproduction (videos clicktovideo tracks rebroadcastetc.)
- Mix audio for special events (conferencesevents trainings memorials etc.)
- Assist in thecreative planning process design and execution of majorevents
- Assist in the design installation andimplementation of system integrationprojects
- Setup and breakdown of audio equipmentcables patches line check troubleshoot repair maintain and ensuringproper function of all equipment
- Performregular maintenance of equipment troubleshoot and / or repair audiorelated equipment as problems and / or issuesarise
KNOWLEDGE ANDSKILLREQUIREMENTS
- Provenskill knowledge and experience in live broadcast and postproductionaudio
- Proven ability operating a variety ofanalog and digital mixing consoles and managing audio in a varietyof different venues
- Proven ability to mix andmanage multiple channels of live and broadcast audio along withappropriate corrections to musicality tonality anddynamics
- Proven ability to recognizetroubleshoot correct and adjust frequency and harmonic issueswithout delay for live and broadcastevents
- Experience and knowledge of live analogand digital consoles Audinate Dante Audio networking products WavesSoundgrid ProTools and digital audioworkstations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Adisciple who is passionate about advancing the gospel and sold outfor the mission of BRAVE Church(kingdomminded)
- Formal training or technicaldegree with certification; or equivalent combination of educationand experience (typically 4 years of worship and spoken word)preferred
- 3 years of experience with technicalequipment preventative maintenance andtroubleshooting
- Experience in a variety of liveproduction environments and venues
- Open toworking an irregular schedule including evenings and weekends andproviding oncall support and assistance outside of normalhours.
- Dedicated to excellence detailminded andable to perform complex tasks with exactitude (excellence in allyou do)
- Able to prioritize tasks to support thevision and mission of BRAVE Church
- Able to workand operate independently with minimal supervision and / orinstruction
- Leader of people; individuals teamsstaff and volunteers combined
