Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring a BSN and at least 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC / SNF) setting

66-bed facility with patient ratios typically 22-25 : 1

Patient population includes CHF, dementia, diabetes, CKD, COPD, dysphagia with PEG tubes, urinary retention with Foley catheters, and wound care

Day shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend and holiday required

Electronic charting is done with PCC (PointClickCare) EMR

Role involves following another nurse for one shift as location-specific orientation

No on-call or call back requirement

Low census currently in the facility

Every other holiday coverage is required

Local candidates within 80 miles or those using provided housing are subject to local rates

Requirements

Active RN license required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a relevant care setting

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) charting system preferred
