Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement therapeutic interventions directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist, addressing individualized treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including educators, parents, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in speech-language pathology to enhance professional growth.
Qualifications :
- Possession of a valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse populations and settings.
